I would like to use the PS MAC from logic in PL. I couldn't tell if this had been asked before, let alone answered. It seems most discussions relate to bringing in GMII signals to PS on EMIO. The PHY and RGMII lines as they are are fine for my use.
I want the assembled bytes, receive clock, and frame start/end. Likewise for outbound packets.
The concern is latency. Abort and discard for this application is more readily tolerable than waiting for FCS and subsequent DMA transfer.
Can this be done? How? Section reference in relevant doc is sufficient...
