Avnet's primary business is distribution of electronic components, same as Digikey except Avnet offers online sales as well as sales offices around the world -- as well as development boards, training, X-fest, etc. We would obviously much prefer to see you buy your devices from Avnet as Digikey is our competitor.
The lowest price that I see on Digikey in the US for an identical part to ZedBoard (XC7Z020-1CLG484C) is $119. Sounds like you are getting better pricing in your part of the world!
For online services, please use www.em.avnet.com. From there, you should be able to search and purchase parts from the web, or you can use the site to find your closest Avnet sales office. Depending on your project schedule and goals, you will likely find that you will be given a better price for your intended volume purchases over the life of your product.
As you have discovered, Zynq is more expensive than an off-the-shelf ARM processor, even if you were to compare it to a similar dual ARM Cortex-A9 MPCore. You have to remember that Zynq also has an 85K Logic Cell FPGA coupled with the processing system. A true comparison would have to be the two-chip circuit of the processor + the FPGA + the value of the integration/bandwidth/pcb simplification that you get with Zynq.
