Power supply from Zedboard

Hi,

I am a Ph.D. student from Stevens Institute of Technology. Our group currently try to design our own TDC(time-to-digital converter). We try to use the FMC connector to connect the TDC with Zedboard. Our TDC requires a 3.3 V and 1.8 power supplies. We have options to either independently provide a DC supply for it or take some power from the Zedboard. 
According to figure 17, the "Maxim power solution" from the Zedboard hardware user's guide,  I see that "Vddj" and "Vcco" can provide a 3.3 V power supply. Is it possible to connect parallel 3.3 V power supply from one of these two guys? What are things I should consider when I do this besides making sure I do not overload it.

    Hello Dag,

    You must be sure you do not mess with the power up / power down rail sequencing. This can cause damage to your board.

    So please verify whatever load you apply does not affect any of the power rail sequencing as definined in the hardware user guide.
