How to read video files (wmv/avi & etc) from SD card and display out using HDMI?

Dear all,

Does anybody know on how to read video files like wmv,avi,mpeg and etc from the SD card and display them to the monitor through the HDMI out?

There is a reference design - HDMI Bare Metal Reference Design Using ADV7511 and ADI IP, and a tutorial - Zedboard HDMI Display Controller Tutorial for Vivado using Xilinx VIPP, on the ZedBoard 'Reference Designs/Tutorials page that might be helpful in understanding how to display video through the HDMI port:

Thanks a lot. I've tried both, they worked fine. I'm still finding way on how to include video files like wmv,avi,mp4 and mpeg formats. Do u know how to do it? Your advice is very much appreciated.
