Hi folks

is there a free / open source implementation of FireWire 400 (for edu.) ?

I have inherited some firewire cameras I would like to connect to Zedboard ?

any idea welcome

I'm not aware of any. You might want to check directly with Digilent or the Xilinx University Program.
