Data via RS232 or GPIB(IEC-625-Bus)?

Hi guys,

I wanted to control my function Generator and lab power supply which have GPIB and RS232 Interfaces.

Is there a way to use the Zedboard the way I could send data via one of the two Interfaces?

Maxim makes an RS232 PMOD module that can be plugged into the ZedBoard PMOD connectors. I have used one to drive the signals from the 2nd Zynq PS UART. You can add additional axi_uart cores in the Zynq programmable logic as well. Due to the width of this module you could probably only fit 3 on a ZedBoard
