Zedboard doesn't turn on

Hello i was doing the Ubuntu desktop tutorial and when i was with linaro ubuntu functioning and testing sound suddenly the board turned off.

Now the board doesn't power on, the led of power doesn't turn on and the board is making a low sound.


The board is dead? If that is why that occurred? I followed the tutorial exactly as it say.

    It is a coincidence that you were working on the Ubuntu tutorial at the time of your board incident.  There is nothing in the Ubuntu tutorial itself that can cause a power issue in the hardware.   If your board indeed has a bad power supply, I would look at the power brick (transformer) and depending on where you are located, how clean the input power is to the device.
