Kernel panic message for Zedboard

100aditya
100aditya over 9 years ago

  Hi,

    I am using vivado 2014.4 and i am trying to boot the linux on mine zedboard. I have made the BOOT partition on the SD card and the content of this is:- BOOT.bin, uenv.Txt, devicetree.dtb,uImage,uramdisk.image.gz and the content of mine uenv.txt file is;-

boot_Zed=mmcinfo;fatload mmc 0 0x3300000 ${kernel_image}; fatload mmc 0 0x3200000 ${devicetree_image}; fatload mmc 0 0x2000000 ${ramdisk_image}; bootm 0x3300000 0x2000000 0x3200000
uenvcmd=run boot_Zed.

But when i am trying to boot the kernel , i am getting the kernel panic message. Here i have shared the dump from serial terminal during boot . If you want i can share device tree file also.

Please have a look and suggest the solution for mine problem

    Hi,

         i found out that this is happening because i have used the device tree that i have generated by mine own Xilinx tool(Vivado 2014.4). But when i am using the device tree provided by the downloaded version of  Xilinx Kernel,   at that time it is working fine.

    So any advice on this.

    Regards

    Aditya
