Adding a Maxim PMOD to Zedboard

Hello,

I am trying to get a Maxim integrated PMOD MAX3232PMB1# to work with my Zedboard through PMOD connector JA1. Maxim mentioned that they had software for rapid development available but I cound't find it.  I did find some for the Digilent PMOD which of the same basic type but it is of a slightly different design. It seems the major difference is that the Maxim PMOD is setup for type 4 and the Digilent is of a type 3 which as far as I can tell means that pins 3 and 4 swapped as the biggest difference.

So far I have managed to get the Digilent IP for the PmodBT2 added to the block diagram of my project by downloading the Digilent Vivado library and installing the IP cores and then adding the BT2 to my project.  My thoughts were that I could just resign pins in the constraints file to account for the swapped pins.  I noticed in the Digilent "how to' they had some steps for installing some Vivado Boards Master files that seemed to allow easy access to the PMOD connectors but I couldnt get that to install.

I could really use some guidance in how to setup the PMOD in VIVADO.

Thanks!

MAX3232PMB1 is part of the Maxim Analog Essentials Collection. The landing page for the MAX3232PMB1 is here: https://www.maximintegrated.com/en/products/interface/transceivers/MAX3232PMB1.html.

Then go to the Design Resources tab. From there, look under Software, and you'll see Platform Project Files for both Nexys and LX9. For some reason, the ZedBoard is missing. The last known version that I remember was Zedboard-Platform-Project-Files-v1_6.zip. I do not see it listed. I'm not sure why Maxim removed it. Let me check.

Maxim is looking into why that file was removed. I will PM you a temporary link where you can download it.

Thanks for the Zedboard file.  I downloaded it last week but got caught up in work before I could respond.   Do I install this just like the Digilent board files? or do I follow this https://pdfserv.maximintegrated.com/en/an/UG5483.pdf to get this working?  I am sorry to need a bit of a push, but I've got a deadline at work and this PMOD is just a speed bump to actual work.
