I just bought a Zedboard from RS. Followed the process in the 'Getting Started' guide and nothing happens.
The LD13 green light goes on. The LD12 LED never turns blue. The laptop I am using detects when the Zedboard is connected (or powered up) as I can hear the characteristic sound that a device is plugged in. There is a COM port created which I try to use to connect to the ZEDboard (USB cable connected to the UART J14 port)(I use the settings 115200/8/n/1/n). But nothing is shown on the terminal. I also connected the ZEDBOARD on a monitor using the HDMI port but again nothing (black screen).
Any suggestions?
