SAMA5D3 Xplained extension boards

Let us know which extension boards already available in the market, you would like to be supported by the SAMA5D3 Xplained board.

For example, we inserted the WiPi in the USB Host connector of the board and the Linux distribution running immediately found the driver for it.

We used this Capacitive Touchscreen from PDA for our demos at Embedded World. It is fully supported by our Linux distribution and QT SDK.

Crank software has developed a great demo for it too.

According to my information Premier Farnell should be able to sell it to you shortly too.

As mentioned in Jacko's reply, we are in the final stages of launching new touch modules for use with the SAMA5D3 Xplained kit.  More details will follow very soon.  We will be offering a 4.3in TM4301 which is a TM4300 with an improved touch sensor design and the new LCD interface used on the SAMA5D3 Xplained kit.  Launching at about the same time or soon after will be 7in TM7000 which also has the new LCD interface.  Both modules remain compatible with the earlier ARM EKs (SAM9X5, SAMA5D3x-EK, etc.)

In the meantime, here are links to relevant datasheets:

       TM4301:   http://www.pdaatl.com/tm4301.pdf

       TM7000:   http://www.pdaatl.com/tm7000.pdf
