USB powered speakers OK to use?

I'm going to use a better PSU anyway, but I'd like to know if using USB powered speakers which can draw around <500 mA is okay for the board itself?

Hi,
I have been using USB Powered Speakers by Philips with my laptop and Desktop machine both for almost a year now and never had any problems. They are perfectly good to use.

Hi,
I have been using USB Powered Speakers by Philips with my laptop and Desktop machine both for almost a year now and never had any problems. They are perfectly good to use.
