USB powered speakers OK to use?

I'm going to use a better PSU anyway, but I'd like to know if using USB powered speakers which can draw around <500 mA is okay for the board itself?

I use an AYL Portable Mini Speaker that recharges only from USB and gets input from an 8mm jack as found on the Raspberry Pi 2. No worries at all.
