I don't know if the BIOS of gizmo2 has other functions, such as the function of setting the default memory size, after my board is turned on, the available memory is only about 750M, and I suspect that the core graphics card occupies more than 200M memory as video memory. You should be able to access the BIOS which may allow you to change the graphics RAM allocation, but also I recall it's possible to compile your own BIOS for the Gizmo 2.
I believe it comes with seabios but I've seen comments about coreboot / timesys too. I'm not aware of many people actually doing this, but after a cursory search on google it appears that people have.
