Speed up development with the RIoTboard

So I got the board, got it connected and it works great. Even got adb connected and could test apps. It struck me though that the develop-test cycle took me longer than with an emulator...I have to switch monitor source, I have to unplug keyboard+mouse from my PC to the RIoTboard...I have to get on my knee's under my desk to test an app.

 

How is this meant to be? Am I supposed to have everything in duplicate? Monitor, keyboard, mouse? Are there ways to combine my development computer input/output with the RIoTboard? How do you have your board connected?

    My devbox is a laptop. I code in Eclipse there, then plug it into the RIoTBoard via USB to upload the app. The RB is connected to its own keyboard/mouse and HDMI monitor. (They're the same ones I initially purchased for the Raspberry Pi.)

     

    I can see how switching out cables can be a drag. Would be interesting to see if the RB will support mini-LCDs and combo keyboard+mouse setups. I'll see if I can find anything out here.
