haven't tried yet, I've been looking at https://github.com/laanwj/etna_viv but as always with some of this stuff we get into having to replace various debian packages with ones that have been altered to support the GPU.

Last I looked the freescale binary drivers were still armel instead of armhf which doesn't make a lot of sense, but anyway various things to consider no matter what direction you look.

I'd like to get the basic stuff done first, hopefully that opens the doors for other people to help out with the vivante driver. Although I don't know that there's any ongoing effort to get it upstreamed, I havent found any and don't know if something with a binary backend would ever get accepted, but it would make it easier if there is something going on in that area.

Otherwise it may make sense to see what Robert Nelson has and go for a common version.
