Hey everyone,
I just got a Riotboard a few days ago - I really like it's concept - but have some real trouble to get started. First of the preinstalled Android obviously has some problems with my HDMI adapter - my monitor does not have an HDMI input, so I bought an active HDMI->VGA adapter. However, I do not get any screen output - on the serial it says:
error: v4l2 capture: slave not found!
error: HDMI not ready!
Then I tried to flash the Linux image... But once again I ran into an error (disregarding the fact that to flash I can't use my Mac but need to use a Windows machine) as obviously the .tgz file in the Linux image is incorrect (I cannot extract it - something along tar magic number error).
I then thought of compiling Android 4.2.2 by myself and flashing it. As it turned out, the manifest file for Android 4.2.2 obviously has an error and I cannot continue. Now I try to compile Android 4.3 and see if that does change anything (I'm afraid it won't).
So... Is anyone able to provide working images or some other kind of help, please? I _really_ want to get started and experiment with the board but I do not know how
