Can 2 cam8100-u cameras be used at the same time? I am considering combinations for playing around with openCV and visual 3d mapping.

Or would I be better off with the other style camera and one of the USB ones too?

I am a computer science student and we will be playing around with openCV next semester and trying to sort out hardware I can use with this that can hopefully be mounted in a manner that will allow them to be used for distance measuring and other neat features. I would like to be able to use the onboard video processing but I am under the impression the USB cameras are not capable of doing so?

Another consideration is that I am assuming that the cameras should be the same for actually doing computer vision stuff.

And lastly does the above mentioned USB camera have special capabilities for these boards or would you be able to use any linux compatible USB camera?
