Sound problems riotboard Android

Hello,

 

i have sound problems in standard android version. No sound with players... MXPlayer, MP3...

The sound volume is on maximum. Wthe notice and alam clock slider  i can hear sound (f i change the sliders)

 

Have any a idea?

    Hi Matthias,

       I've got the same situation here, standard Android install out of the box:

     

    1. HDMI cable into monitor - no sound output from monitor on anything

    2. Headphones / amp connected into headphone socket - no sound output.

     

    So, on my phone (HTC Desire HD) the audio obviously works ok using the headphone jack. I haven't checked my image version yet. Anyone with info on Android audio jack / HDMI and switching between them would be helpful. I think another post on here said it wasn't possible to switch between HDMI and audio jack? If that's so, I'm not going to use Android as I'd like to develop some media apps so switching / using the onboard codec is rather essential...

     

    Sorry that's not a solution, I'll let you know if I get anywhere.
