Kit Overview

 

Demonstration circuit DC590BDC590B is a USB-based controller with generic serial peripheral interface (SPI) and inter integrated circuit (I2C) ports. It is designed to mate with Linear Technology’s family of QuikEvalTm demonstration boards. The demo board is fully isolated from the host PC’s ground, and in many cases no external power source is required. The evaluation software automatically detects which demo board is connected and loads the appropriate control screen.

 

The QuikEval system provides a quick and easy way to evaluate the performance of a wide variety of Linear Technology’s products, including ADCs, DACs, SMBus power control products and many others.

 

The QuikEval System is a USB-based product demonstration and data acquisition system for use with Linear Technology’s A/D, D/A, LED drivers and Powered Ethernet Controllers. The system consists of a USB Data Acquisition Controller board that connects to individual daughter cards for specific Linear Technology products.

 

The software also includes web links to the appropriate device data sheets and provides an automatic update feature to keep the software current with the latest set of device drivers.
