From the heading, it seems clear to me that this zip file contains 8-year-old coding related information concerning driving an LCD using I2C, for a couple of ancient processors, and it refers to the Atmel/Microchip typical reference number style, in this case AVR155. Was that not what you expected?
So, Element 14 thinks that it is really cool to have a heading and call it a technical information document. And what is pinned to it is simply Atmel's application note AVR 155. No more, no less.
