Sharing with you this useful document meant to help customers get up and running quickly with Freescale software products licensed with FLEXlm. CodeWarrior happens to be one of those products, besides of using a floating licensing scheme.
A floating license scheme consists of one or more license servers that run the license management process that distributes licenses to the various client machines. The client machines should have the CodeWarrior software installed (or any other Freescale software) and will communicate with the license server(s) using TCP/IP.

Even though it sound tricky, it's actually pretty simple if you follow the steps that are deeply explained:
- Installing the license server utilities on the server(s)
- Configuring and installing the license file on the server(s)
- Starting the licence server(s)
- Configuring the client machines to obtain licenses from the server(s)
