Try right-clicking and select 'Run as Administrator' when installing. This is just a guess however. You can see from the error message that it is likely a permissions issue or you have run out of disk space (unlikely).
This doesn't work either. Just bought a Microchip CAN BUS Analyzer and cannot install the software. I get the same "Error opening file for writing" message box.
