Hi,

before you installed EAGLE 5.10 you have got the license information from us. You had this to download from the CadSoft website. It was a file named "serialnumber".key and at the same place you found the installation code which consists of ten lower case letters. Don't you have this stored?

If not, please contact our sales office, be sure to have the serial number of your license available. They will be able to help you.

I purchased a version of Eagle Light (5.10.0) and received a single-user license. Everything is great, except when I was informed that a newer version (5.11.0) was available. I downloaded the new version, and the license key no longer works. In the Use License Key dialog I entered the key file and the word "commercial" (for the Installation Code, whatever that is) and the system now only lets me activate as "Freeware."
Did I miss something, or do I have to purchase a new license for the new version?

The links are working prefect. I just checked this. Could it be a matter of your firewall that it is not allowed o download exe files via ftp? please check the settings there.

No we didn't. There are currently no plans to do so.

No there isn't. But there are some customer requests concerning differential pairs for example. Maybe we will have some more features in this subject with the next new EAGLE version. But currently we do not yet have fixed plans.

Hi,

simply remove the folder you have installed EAGLE and delete the file named .eaglerc in your home folder.

Hi,

EAGLE expects a 1 to 1 connection. One pin can be connected exactly with one pad. To have a proper definition you have to use three pins ion the schematic. You could for example use two short pins so that it look like one long pin and connect both to the net. Sorry there is curently no other solution available.

I´m creating a D2PAK diode in the library editor, and since there are three pads but only two pins in the symbol, I need to connect one pin to two pads, but cant understand howto...any idea?

Hi,

quick solution is to draw a WIRE in layers 1 and 16 from pad to pad and NAME the wire the same as the signal name is. So will not get DRC errors.

The proper solution would be to use three pins in the schematic and connect them all to the same net. So you would get airwires connecting all the pads in the board.
