I've tried to sign up for Altium live for weeks now and I keep getting the following error that doesn't make any sense:
Thank you for your interest in AltiumLive.
Our records indicate that your company has already registered with AltiumLive.
Please contact your account administrator to have your account created.
There's no way I'm in their records as I've tried various email addresses (even throwaway ones) and all give the same error.
This error message is confusing and dishonest and doesn't help (the real reason for that message I suspect is that my IP and machine are banned because I'm using a VPN). What shocks me about this is that Altium apparently is doing profiling: gathering and storing my IPs and linking them to my other IPs the email addresses, phone numbers and names so that I can be banned forever when I try to sign up under any of those with any IP address. Without my consent. Without me doing anything wrong. Besides the fact that this is endlessly annoying and time wasting: this certainly can't be legal under the GDPR law in Europe?
Any Altium folks on here that could help me out?
