Remove missing files from CircuitStudio project?

Is there no method for renaming or removing files from a project in the interface? Using v1.5.2

I can delete the files from the project using the file manager, but the project still looks for it. Crazy it is not easier.

Hi,

I have found it is easy to take a file like the missing one and rename it using Windows file manager. Then restart CS and it will be satisfied to have found the files. Then you can remove it from the project. It is a poor way to workaround though I agree. I'd classify this sort of thing as a bug but this should be a workaround.

Have you tried dragging the file out of the project (in the project browser). For me, if I do this, the file moves to 'free documents' and is no longer part of the project.
Is that any help?

Good idea. Unfortunately it didn't work for me.

But when I tested your idea I found that if instead I saved the project, closed the project and then reopened the project the missing files were removed and all seemed well.

The file did remove itself after saving the project and re-opening it.
