Getting a Refund?

alberto2033
alberto2033 over 5 years ago

I bought a license for the tool last December to work on a client's assignment but this tool is full of bugs and I spend more time restarting the program after it crashes than doing useful work.

It used to work after the restart for about enough time to actually do some work but now I can't repour anything without getting the program to crash on the spot and when trying to submit the error to the support server it just says it's down.

If the program wasn't going to be supported I don't understand how can you still sell it. It's really appalling.

Is there any way to get a refund?

    Hi Alberto,

How is this going to work.. isn't terms and conditions, and policies, and legislation country-dependent?

You need to contact wherever you purchased the item.

Any chance to get some additional details?

Your problem(s) may not be unique. There may be others with the same experience. They may be willing to share their experience and a solution. Be sure and include model, version, vendor and operating system(s).

    Hi,

Crashes and instabilities like you are having have often been related to incompatible or old versions of the video adapter driver.  You might check to be sure it is the latest driver version, directx is functioning properly and that the computer is reasonable for the task.  It may be worth your time and sanity to try it on a different computer.

Good luck.  It is not directly a problem with CS.  Many of us run it without such problems.

CS license renewal was in january.

Then in february renewal was canceled and payment was refunded.

Looks like CS development and support now completely down.

That explains why I can't find any option to renew on Farnell's website anymore, only the option to buy a full license.
