The layer transparency control function is visible, but it does not work.
It works just like setting the layer color.
As shown in the picture, the overlapping part is not visible.
I want to show where they overlap.
How can I do it?

Hi, Short answer to your topic is "no".
The menu option looks to be leftover from Altium Designer capability and no one has found it important or useful enough to comment on that I can remember. I think it was intended to open up the view options tab of the View Configurations menu where in AD there was an option to control opacity of the layers. In CS we do get to change opacity of the solder masks which only works for setting the Show Top/Bottom Positive true. I have never found this useful in 2D view mode.
I see that the same menu selection appears in 3D mode and does allow opacity controls of the silk, soldermask and core though. So it may be useful in 3D mode.
