Personally, I don't recommend purchasing. Circuit Maker Pro was originally announced in September of 2020 . A year and a half later, there has been no news. I think it has been scrapped. Edit: Just saw…

    Hi,

What we have learned so far is that a new version is currently being Beta tested for more than one month so far.  There has been no official release date announced. Most of the changes seem to be to align their code base to the flagship Altium Designer. Likely this will mean more frequent updates in the future. Also, seems to be significant changes to the component vault.

If you buy now you should be able to get the update when it comes out.  There might or might not be a price increase on the new version. There has been no announcement on the price or time of the new version.

Current version of Circuit Studio is 1.5.2.  The new version is renamed to Circuit Maker Pro v2.0.  But it is the same and files are compatible and license will still be perpetual with yearly maintenance fee for updates (as far as we know).

And it is still available to buy/licence at altium.com main page.

The video promoting CircuitStudio 2.0 WAS recent from Dec. 28, 2021, while it lasted.

Let's just hope that something good falls out of the activity !

after 2 years of using Soliworks PCB we move to CircuitStudio. it was cheaper decision to continiuoe works on Altium enviroment.

Beisides of that - Solidworks PCB is almost the same as CircuitStudio and alse didn't receive any update in few year. They releasing the same version in each mainstream SW releases. And it will be discontinue in next year.
