I'm planning to design a PCB Spiral Antenna in CircuitStudio. How do I go about creating/drawing this part while ensuring the rate of increase of spiral diameter is consistent?
I don't know if it is a true spiral but if you take a bunch of concentric circles, where the spacings are all the same, then cut the whole group in half and shift one half over one space, then you can join semicircles that will have consistent spacing and a slightly lopsided "spiral" shape. See the blue spiral below:
Don't know anything about CircuitStudio. If you can import png I think you could use Inkskape to draw the spiral. I think it is an Archimedean spiral
Create the spiral adjust stroke width and export png.
A divergence of one gives a spiral where the distance between successive turns remains uniform (an Archimedes' spiral)
