Need info on using CS and AD

We currently have a license and use Altium Designer (AD).

 

We would like to increase our layout capacity but don't want to spend a lot of $$$ if we don't have to.

 

If we purchase a CircuitStudio (CS) license, are there any negatives to incorporating the CircuitStudio file into Altium Designer?

 

In other words, can we take CS files and make changes to those files in AD?

 

We know we can't place AD files in CS.

 

We would use CS to layout new PCBs only.

 

Please help me with any pros or cons on purchasing a CS license in our AD environment.
