Missing download link for CS

imm
imm over 9 years ago

Where is the download link for the trial version of CS? I have a username and password emailed to me and a link to the original page where I applied for a trial licence. This page also has a section stating download here... but no link from which to download...?

    Hi Tony,

Unfortunately the info is of no help... the download page seems to be missing the actual link to download from... I have tried different browsers and different computers with different operating systems all with the same result (currently using Windows 10 and Chrome). If you try the download page perhaps it will be the same for you?

    www.circuitstudio.com/download.php

has the link been removed for some reason? or perhaps I am blinded by the obvious..?

    Ian

I had the same problem, see the direct link here:

Basically your screen is too small, you will get more troubles with this inside CS, they don't care about small screens, there are hidden parts due to fixed block size. I reported many issues 3 months ago and had to give up after seven days because they don't care about customers' UX and bugs, they didn't even take 2 minutes to respond to my emails... but I let you try and see by yourself, let me know if it became awesome image

    Good luck!

    Jerome

    Hi,

Here is the response from our development team:

The new download page on circuitstudio.com that will be uploaded soon will resize better on small screens to avoid this problem.

The direct download link for CircuitStudio version 1.2 is:

    http://altium-install.s3.amazonaws.com/CircuitStudio/CircuitStudioSetup.exe

Please note that this link will soon be replaced and/or changed when version 1.3 is released.

    Thanks Tony,

Problem solved - just needed a screen with higher resolution as the window size is limited - so this works fine when I use a high res monitor plugged into my laptop but forget using it on my laptop standalone. Fortunately this is how I use it most of the time but means that it is unavailable when I travel with work.

    Ian
