Plated Board Edge

I am attempting to make a small PCB that will surface mount solder directly to another board.  Very similar to the HC-05 bluetooth module.  One thing I don't understand and don't know how to accomplish is the plating on the board edges.  How can I design a board edge with plating?  Since it is not a full via, I'd like to know how to go about this.  I'm sure that someone here knows.

    It's referred to as "half-holes" and usually involves an extra manufacturing step.

     

    The pcb fab I done them with just wants normally plated through holes on the gerbers with the board outline that goes through the center of them.  But ask your fab how they want it.

     

    Just be aware that it'll increase the cost of fab.

    Thanks for the quick response.  This should work for me.  I'm sure that I can easily create a half-hole via footprint in the library editor.  But alas, with CS I cannot do PCB arrays unless I place them all into one PCB myself.  Quite a hassle.
