Reusing Components in CircuitStudio

I was having some issues with reusing some components from an imported project.  Super simple stuff but I was having difficulty finding a good simple reference.  I created a brief tutorial (link below) going over the steps that work for me.  Would love to hear suggestions on a better workflow.

I have a question:

When creating the custom integrated library I found that if I only added the compiled integrated library project to my PrjPcb then I wasn't able to get the footprints to stay attached to the schematics.  I could find the schematic just fine but when I would commit changes to the PCB the footprints would be missing.  Why is that?

You should be able to save a couple of steps by clicking and dragging libraries into your project. Works for me.

    From the developers:

Currently in CircuitStuio 1.3 the SchLib, PcbLib libraries need to be added to the CircuitStudio project in order for the footprints to be located during the Update PCB, ECO process. Otherwise the footprints aren't found.

Altium currently has CircuitStudio 1.4 in beta testing and this version has been updated to fully support Altium Design Content so IntLib, files will more easily locate the footprint models. The 1.4 version is in Beta and assuming all goes well it should be only a few weeks away.

Ah, that explains the strange behavior.  Thanks for the response.  Is there a document that lists these types of things being updated in newer versions?  I'd like to review it to eliminate wasted time.

Any plans to implement DBLIBs into CS?
