3D PDF

Will CircuitStudio be getting 3D PDF export, even if it is a paid extension?

    Hi slowertech,

     

    Currently as you know CircuitStudio doesn't have the export 3D PDF feature. Thank you for suggesting this, I'll suggest we add this to the roadmap however I can't promise this feature will be accepted.

    For other readers, 3D PDF export in Altium Designer allows the board to be output to an Adobe 3D PDF format that can be manipulated in 3D in their reader. The files are quite small and it means any user with Adobe Reader can view the board nicely in 3D from any angle, add notes, etc.

    As a work around, there are a number of software packages out there that can take the step model from CS and create a 3D PDF.
