PCB replication

vadim007

Hello everyone!

I have done a layout of a small PCB. Now for a automatic assembly I need to replicate it (put 12 same small PCBs on one big PCB). What is the best way to achieve this in circuit studio?

Thank you!

harvie256, you are super-duper circuit studio investigator! Thank you for all your useful videos! But about CS... Net classes, multichannel PCB, penalization...What further hidden functionality CS has…

    Hi Dmitry,

What you are talking about is panelization. I'm not a CS user so can't advise on how to do it there or even if there is such a tool built in, but a lot of board vendors will do panelization for you if you specify it and they'll work out how the design fits most optimally on whatever size panel they are using to maximize utilization of the panel for the cheapest board cost.

    Best Regards,

    Rachael

    Not so fast....

I've got a video on how to do it, head over to the eevblog forum to download a PCB file you'll need.

But about CS... Net classes, multichannel PCB, penalization...What further hidden functionality CS has?? Who knows... A skynet was just a program at beginning... But then a terminator appears image
