Hi, you may have to manually adjust colours and opacity back to their original values in the View Configuration dialog, below is the default.

Does changing the colours in the View Configuration dialog make a difference to the 3D view for you?

Here is an official workaround from Altium that provides additional colour schemes for the 3D view.

    • Quit CircuitStudio so it isn't running.
    • Go to the following folder (substitute the windows username and the guid long number): C:\Users\(windows user)\AppData\Roaming\Altium\CircuitStudio {guid}\ViewConfigurations\
    • Unzip the attached file into this folder, it contains several *.config_3d files.
    • Open the RegisteredViewConfigurations.ini file in Notepad
    • In the [config_3d] section of the ini file, add an extra entry for the blue scheme (copy the black line and paste it to a new line below then change the "Black" to "Blue" near beginning and end of line)
      [config_3d]
      Altium 3D Black=C:\Users\(path as per above)\ViewConfigurations\Altium 3D Black.config_3d
      Altium 3D Blue=C:\Users\(path as per above)\ViewConfigurations\Altium 3D Blue.config_3d
    • Add lines for the other color files (the ones you unzipped earlier).
    • Run CircuitStudio and you should see several colour options under 3D View Configuration.
