I am having problem while pouring POLYGON, it is taking ages to pour nearly an hour and hangs the Circuitstudio,
This program is using 50 % of my 8GB memory.
Can anyone help me with this problem ?
It is happening for me since yesterday.

Hi. Have you changed anything circuit wise (e.g. areas of pour, number of polygons etc) between when it worked and when it stopped? Have you tried using local history to go back to the earlier version of the board that worked? Are there reproducible steps that changed the design from working to suddenly not pouring?
Hi Peter,
Thanks for your reply
It is a 4 layer PCB.
Top layer is working fine, if I pour copper on top layer it is working fine.
When it comes to other 3 layers, It is hanging.
I haven't changed anything in the project.
NO idea whats going on.
If you think nothing has changed then I can offer to load up your design on my computer to see if it has the same issue. To take up this offer please email our support line software@element14.com and mention my name in the subject line.
I found where the problem lies, it is nothing to do with the software.
I changed the stack up layer of the PCB after placing a polygon.
That caused the hang, whenever I tried to Place a Polygon on layer 2,3 and bottom software hanged.
I am facing the same problem. Can you suggest me a way to solve the same.
Try defining the polygon using a hatch rather than solid fill, let me know if this makes a difference.
But I Want my polygons as solid fill.
Can you let me know if using a hatched polygon works, you can then turn it into a filled polygon by use of appropriate grid and line width.
I wasn't familiar with Hatched polygon. That's why. Thanks for your responses.
