Variants and 3D models

Hi everyone,

I am exploring the Variants.

I succeeded with schematics - I can export the correct schematic depending on the chosen variant.

Is there a way to work with the chosen variant also in the editor directly?

When working with PCB I realized that many components are displayed according to the variants, but some of my own are still displayed whatever he chosen variant is. Is there any additional parameter or settings to use in order to make this work?

I also realized I have a component with 3D model shown in component editor correctly, but never shown in the 3D board view (no component shown in 2D view on 3D top or 3D bottom layer either). Does anyone have an idea what can be done wrong?

You can view the variants directly in the schematic. First you must compile your design from the schematic editor, once done you will see tabs at the bottom of the main document window to switch between the variants that are defined.

You can select a variant when using Project > Generate Outputs.
