Complete CS beginner, but have use a lot of other packages. Tried to do something about the column filtering problem (i.e. way too many columns, filtering is not saved). Have lost the left hand menu of the Vault. How to get it back?

    Hi,

I'm writing from my phone but on your picture, to the right of the line with:

Top -> Unified Components-> Components -> Analog Device,

and to the left of the search bar, the are some buttons like refresh and some that by clicking might solve your issue.

This seems easy to replicate as a problem. If anyone wants to try it I would recommend making a system restore point first so you can recover what ever registry settings are controlling this.  This condition seems to happen if you resize the folder tree pane to minimum.  Then it disappears entirely.  You can then press the show/hide folder tree button/icon and it will slightly shift the vault folders pane.  However, you cannot resize the pane back to where it shows the folders.  Seems like a bug to me.

I got mine back by doing a system restore from my last restore point after this happened.
