New version CircuitStudio 1.5.1 (Build 13)

I just tried to update, and was told that my subscription was expired. Yet in my Payment history there is an entry that shows I paid for a subscription renewal in Mar, 2018. It also shows something similar in my Licenses page. But the Updates pages don't reflect this. I've opened a call to the CircuitStudio Support people at Newark.

I can't get the install to complete. It keeps hanging on this screen.

@Thomas: Your subscription is correct in our system so my suggestion is to Reactivate your license. If this doesn't work, please let me know and I'll test your license on my own machine.

@Kyle: Please contact me via PM or email: your firewall or system scanner or local virus scanner could be blocking some of the objects that are downloaded, so we may have to arrange an offline download (which has some inconveniences that I'll explain).

Hi Kyle, as well as anyone else who tried to update up to this point:

Can you please sign out and then sign in again, and run the update again, because the new component is now fully synchronized and I am expecting the update will now work correctly. The error caused no harm to your system, i.e. when you clicked No, your software was not adversely affected.

P.S. The extension "EXPORT3D_CS" is the new feature to export your PCB in the PCB3D format used in PDF viewers. When this feature was added to Altium Designer, the feature was extremely popular, since you can provide a single file to a colleague for interactively viewing in 3D, without requiring CAD software. Various layers can also be switched off in the viewer so that the bare board can be seen, or certain components can be highlighted.

My license is fine, its the subscription that ran out back in March, but I renewed it two days before the original subscription ended. I have a P.O. in a PDF to show this. Again, even my License page shows the subscription is Ok (expires on 19-Mar-2019), but there is arequirment that I Reactivate. This is likely why the Extensions and Updates pages show that my subscription has expired and isn't letting me download the 1.5.1 update.  I tried to Reactivate my subscription yesterday, and now things are even worse. I've tried to uninstall and re-install my license, but no good. I can still run CircuitStudio, but can't update.

How do I reactivate my subscription? Do I need a new license? Or, is this something Newark does on their end?

Hi Thomas,

The Reactivation process downloads the latest version of your license to your hard drive in the background and it includes the latest subscription information. If you're still having problems, please reply to my email with a copy of your ALF file. I included instructions in my email.
