Project files show "Out of date" after SVN commit.

I am new to CircuitStudio.  I have a project in an SVN repo.  If I commit changes to the project, CircuitStudio then shows question mark symbols meaning "Out of date" for all the files.  TortoiseSVN in file explorer says all the files are up to date and happy.  I am not sure what makes them green check marks again, but it seems if I do an update and then close the project and reopen it they are happy again...  Is this a bug or am I not understanding something?

I've done some simple tests using a local repo and CS seems to work as expected. Are you using the project pane Right Click > Version Control > Commit to save to the repo and have you tried using Version Control > Refresh to see if that sorts out the status icons without restarting CS?

Yes, I used the project pane to commit.  I have tried refresh and update.  It will not change from the ? until I close the project and reopen it, but even then it doesn't always clear up.  As I said before, it seems like doing an update and then closing may be the trick.  I will try to narrow it down when I have time to look into it more.   I am using github as the repo server (they have an SVN interface).  I don't know if it could have something to do with github's translation to SVN?  As a company we use git and github for most things... which is why I am using them for our CS repos.

Just for a little more information on this... nothing I do inside CircuitStudio brings back the green check-marks.  But if I use TortoiseSVN and do an update outside of CircuitStudio, and then do a refresh in CircuitStudio, then I get the green check-marks back.

Could it be you have some files under version control (in the project folder) that are not part of the CS project?

All files that are under version control are part of the CS project, I just double checked that.  The only thing that does not show up in the Storage Manager in CS is the "branches" folder that is parallel with the "trunk" folder... but it is currently empty, and I would assume that CS knows how to handle the branches folder properly.

I created this local repo by using CS to "Check Out"  and I have only committed to it from within CS.
