Marker Dot on Component Parameter Text?

jimolson
jimolson over 6 years ago

I've imported an OrCAD schematic into CiruitStudio.  For the most part the importation went OK.  Symbols are quite readable even though text strings are very small.

However, each component's parameter text in the schematic is equipped with a marker dot located on the text base line to the left of the left-most character.   The location of this dot is essentially where the text's placement "handle" is located.

How do I turn off these dots?

This could be the Mark Manual Parameters option. Click File > System Preferences and check the dialog.

I would love to have been a fly on the wall during Altium staff meetings when CS development was road-mapped.  The KISS folks were outvoted.
