I've spent a bunch of time converting my Eagle libs to CS. Now I am starting to actually make things and finding some really annoying things. I have a lot of components with hidden pin names on them and I've spent time to add supplier links to a lot of components. Now, when I place these components, they always show the pin names and the supplier part number. I don't want those shown.
I discovered in the place component dialog box the 'Show All Pins on Sheet (Even if Hidden)' checkbox so I de-select that and de-select the the property for the supplier part number. OK, stuff goes away. I grab the next component, place and.... those 2 are turned back on, WTF? So now every time I place a component I have to open that annoying dialog and make those extra clicks to turn it off. Why aren't those sticky? Especially 'Show All Pins on Sheet (Even if Hidden)', I mean jeez, if I go to the trouble of hiding it in the library, isn't that a pretty good indication that I don't want it displayed? Whats the point of even having 'hidden' if its just going to be turned back on when I place the component.
Am I just missing something?
