Layer sets are changed after reboot

tueftler@work
tueftler@work over 6 years ago

Hey there.

I have defined two layer sets for designator/comment movement before BOM generation.

For example:

My "Top assembly Text" layer set includes:

- Top Paste

- Assembly Text Top

- Assembly Top

Same defined for bottom side with "view from Bottom Side" feature checked.

After switch to another layouts or restart CS, the "Assembly *" layers are unchecked in the manager.

Did anybody can confirm that problem?

It's a bit annoying to set it up all day long again image

Greetings, Bjoern

    Hi Bjoern

Looks like you've found a bug. To reproduce I have created a new blank PCB, added a layer set and selected every possible layer. After saving, closing and reopening the layer set is no longer correct with only some layers enabled. In the screenshot below all layers should be ticked but some persistently go missing. I will report this as a possible bug to Altium.

    Hi Peter,

    thanks for your confirmation.

It looks be that CS only safe some of the layer selections - but not all.

Hope it will be corrected in the next versions.

    Thank you

Just to confirm that the bug was logged with Altium. Normally there is no direct response but it does help them decide on future updates for the product.
