Board Array Function

Hi, I'm trying an evaluation version of CircuitStudio 1.5.

I'd like to panelize my PCB I designed to the large PCB.

Any FAQ on the net says CircuitStudio don't have a panelization function.

But I saw the working procedure at following video.

In this video, he is calling an Embedded Board Array menu.

What I want to do, place 2x2 single design PCB on the panel,

and add 10mm margin to top and bottom, left and right

with 6 V-grooves. I'm not desired to make different PCB mixed array.

Can I do this on CircuitStudio?

Hi, Please let me know what he said from 2:20 to 2:25 on his tutorial.
I can't hear his phrase though it's key action.

You need to double click on the embedded array and then load in your PCB.

I understand that double click to call Embedded Board Array dialog after board array was placed.
Prior to this, to paste an originl board design, I need to select original data include the board outline.

Now, I prepared an completely-designed Original_PCB.CSPcbDoc and blank Panelized_PCB.CSPcbDoc.
When I select all objects at Original_PCB, but it's not include board outline.
Furthermore if I tried to repeat the paste, Referense Designator R1 is added as R1_2 and R1_3...
So copy & paste does not work well. I'm sorry if I'm mistaken.

Have you had someone provide you with the Embedded Board Array PCB document created by Altium Designer? You cannot simply copy and paste a CS PCB document multiple times.

Hi Brewstar, I downloaded PcbDoc template file from the thread, and did it according to his instruction.
I got PCB array as I thought. Thank you very much.
