Hi All,

Just installed the 1.5.2 trail of CircuitStudio today, but already facing a mayor problem image

After creating a new project, nothing happens.

This is the first time I installed CircuitStudio.

Now that I restarted my computer, CircuitStudio no longer starts image

I start CircuitStudio with administrator rights.

Any idea?

Peter

Sorry to hear you are experiencing problems but a little more detail may help. After creating a project you say nothing happens - does this mean the project has been created, the software locked up, was there an error message, did the project folder get created?

If the software started once and then won't run again try renaming any project folders you created just in case there is something corrupt in a project.

I removed all previous created project files.

Now CS starts. By just clicking on New Project and selecting a template file (PC-104 16 bit bus) the hourglass (circle windows 10) will continuing spinning and nothing happens.

This process is blocking my pc now. Only removing the process from the Taskmanager will close it.

    4 files (PC-104 16 bit bus.CSPcbDoc, PC-104 16 bit bus.EMF, PC-104 16 bit bus.PrjPcb, PC-104 16 bit bus.schdoc) are created in the project folder.

Next time I start CS, splash will stop at loading previous workspace or will continue (sometimes) showing no previous workspace.

One issue that has been reported before is printer drivers causing a very long start up time so it would be worth dismissing this possibility. Change your default printer driver and then try running CS (should be no need to run as administrator).
