Generating Assembling Drawings

I am trying to produce assembly drawings to give to the board assembler. I want to produce a pdf of the ident layer (.GTO).

PROJECT->GENERATE OUTPUTS then click configure in assembly drawings section. I have deleted the bottom layer ass. drawing as I have components on the top layer only. I delete all layers apart from the top overlay. I tick only top components and generate the output.

 

I click OUTPUTS->ASSEMBLY DRAWINGS and view the file. None of the settings I have made are reflected in the output. I can change different settings and the output is always the same. I can produce a pdf by selecting a pdf printer driver but the output is the same.

 

Has anyone seen this before / have a solution to this ?

    I think when you click on OUTPUTS->ASSEMBLY DRAWINGS and view the file, you are looking at something different.  I tried your instructions and got the correct output PDF file every time.  But when I went to Assembly Drawings, I got something different. 

     

    Try this:  When you generate your assembly drawings, leave the window open and click on 'Assembly Drawings' and then click the 'View' button to see your generated files.  It should bring up your new PDF in Acrobat Reader or whatever you have installed.  Your PDF file should be in the folder labeled 'Default Configuration' in your project directory.
