Newbie here - why schematic and board foil don't agree ??

I've inherited a design from someone no longer with the company.  In CircuitStudio 1.5, I have a schematic diagram which doesn't agree with the PCB foil pattern.

The foil pattern is correct, the schematic is incorrect.  Yet I'm not getting an error.  I can't find a netlist output.

Can someone help?  Thanks.

I didn't get the original project folder. But that is a good idea for next time(s), to include those history files into the repo.

Can you be more specific about what's different?

If the schematic has been changed then it won't automatically update the PCB, you'll need to Project->Update PCB

But of course, save a copy of the original first.  You'll probably need to reverse-engineer the PCB by inspection and modify the schematic until it matches.

How do you know the two do not agree - what have you used to compare and what are the differences? If you were handed the original project folder then there may well be a history of changes that could be useful. Do remember to keep a copy of the original and use a working copy for your investigations.

The differences were in the wiring of one chip, the PCB foil agreed with the chip datasheet, but the schematic wasn't correct.  It looked strange to me, the schematic, so I investigated the PCB foil.

Thanks to both of you for the quick responses and good answers.   I did the little "reverse engineer" thing and fixed the schematic.

    Thanks again.
