Calculate polygon area

Hi, is there a way to calculate the area occupied by a polygon or a solid region?

    Hi Thomas,

     

    thank you for the link, this is useful. Shame that CS does not have this as an in-built feature.

    I also discovered that this method does not work for polygons with keepouts or voids that are filled by the CS based on the rules.

    I my case my polygon was created manually, so this worked, thank you.
